If your suffering from acid reflects before you get vsg will it get better or worse after surgery?

Mine got worse but I eat a lot of high acid foods. To control it, I take one Omeprazole in the morning and one Tums at night. Depending on your diet, your results might be very different. Good luck!

Usually worse but it depends on what is causing it to begin with.

I don't really know what's the cause of it but I take prevacid for it now and that still don't work so im kinda nervous about getting surgery because of that

Usually worse.I had to have revision to bypass after 5 years with the sleeve.
