Thank you to everyone for your motivation and support.

Since the OP a week ago, I've shed 3 lbs, so I'm headed in the right direction. Of course I wish it were more! :rolleyes:

I'm also on solid/regular foods now, which is strange.

Still walking, still hydrating, still proteining.

Thanks for your update. I was reading all the responses and was hoping you shared one. Keep hanging in there hon!! Think of your non scale victories and how you feel. Don't let numbers define you. Keep marching on, you'll do well.

A week after surgery you was able to do solid/regular foods without complications

I had my surgery about 4 weeks ago. Every surgeon's guidelines are different - definitely follow yours. Mine has me on regular foods after 4 weeks.

I'm starting slowly, chewing extremely well, weighing everything, and eating on a schedule. So far, so good!

@whitesale

Sounds like you are doing all the right things. Im going on three months post op and have had no less than 4/FOUR crazy long stalls. That's crazy, right! It happens. Trust me it will get better. I did the Keto diet starting at about a month ago to jumpstart weight loss again after an almost three week stall. It's not for everyone but it works for me. I was hungry as hell everyday until last week now I've suddenly lost all hunger. The one thing I've learned is that your body will react to this sleeve differently from week to week. If you stay on your plan you will progress eventually! I promise.

I'm going to start working out on Tuesday and can't wait!!

Did you not speak to a NUT (nutritionist) or did your dr. not advise to not eat solids for a few weeks? Although everything seems fine the stomach where the staples are need to heal.

      Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
      1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

        All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

      I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
