I was sleeved 12/22.

Start weight: 303.

Surgery weight: 292.

Current weight: 278.

I've been stalled for over a week now :/

I feel like I haven't lost what I'm supposed to have lost.

Anyone else in the same boat?

My NUT and mom say my body is in shock and just trying to catch up but I can't help but be discouraged.

I'm having trouble getting all of my calories in which may have something to do with it.

My procedure was the day before yours. I weight once a week, but I've only lost 3lbs over the last two weeks. It's very disheartening, but I'm doing my darndest to stay positive and trust the process. This forum has really helped me keep my chin up about the whole thing.

I had a sleeve on 12/28/16, so it's been 2 1/2 weeks. I've lost 15 pounds so far. Is that below average? I had rapid weight loss from getting out of the hospital until the 1 1/2 week mark, then a 6-day plateau and just finally lost a couple more pounds. I can't explain the plateau--I was still on a liquid diet when it started!

I think we are so quick to get discouraged when at the time we first started we would of died for a 30 lb weight loss and the minute we slow means we need to up our exercise game that's another part of our tools, everything is just a tool, not a crutch.

I'm a dude. Bypass on 12/13 at 270 and down 35 pounds. Doing about 1 or 2 pounds a week now. Don't care about the scale, just sticking to the calories, and know my body will adjust. It has no choice really. That's the science part. Without the surgery there is no way I could maintain 600 to 700 calories a day. I remember when I thought 1500 calories was impossible to maintain a few "diets" ago.

Lost 10 pounds on the pre-op diet too. I started that week out at 270. I'm climbing out of the 3-4 week stall.

Mine was on 12/30, I lost pretty much the same amount of weight as yours. The first week was a pound a day now it's a little slower.

I was bypassed on 12/22 as well!! I'm currently going through this "stall"...although I have lost a really good amount of weight already. It's still discouraging not seeing the scale move for awhile!

Surgery day weight: 345

Current weight: 313

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
