hagerteresa 3 Posted December 25, 2004 Hmmm. I have always been a cold-shivering person. I still am. I asked for an electric throw for christmas so I can lug it all over the house and stay warm. Our apartments only heat source is the most stupid invention in the world---CEILING HEAT!!! How dumb is that!!!! Its not the most insulated place either but I do try to keep it comfortably warm. We don't get the sticking type of snow very often in the valleys of Oregon either. The mountains always get a lot but its a rare treat and a perfect excuse to stay home when the valley's get snow. Best wishes, Teresa
nightingale2u 42 Posted December 25, 2004 I'm not sure I could survive the holidays without snow???? HOWEVER... I could manage without the below zero temps... We drove around lastnight looking at all of the Christmas lights and all of the snow on the ground really sets the stage! Now... do I start packing up the tree today???? Hmmm.... maybe I'll actually wait... heck... maybe I'll leave it up all year.
Iluvharleys 15 Posted December 25, 2004 Darcy - My Mom always told us it was bad luck to take the tree down until after New Year's, so I always leave it up till the day after.
nightingale2u 42 Posted December 25, 2004 Well I'm all for as much luck as I can garnish! Besides... it does look pretty... I think I'll go take a nap instead! Darcy
Rebeccalee 2 Posted December 26, 2004 I agree that the tree stays up until after New Year's Day. Might as well enjoy it and put off cleaning everything up.

Jammin & Losin 1 Posted December 26, 2004 Jack I've been to the nutritionist already and I scheduled to see a pshycologist Jan 4. little worried about that visit, never been to one before. What kind of questions should I expect? Nutritionist gave me a list off foods to eat now. Is there another diet before surgery?
Jammin & Losin 1 Posted December 26, 2004 I guess it won't be to big of a deal. I think I will feel better about it all after my surgery date is scheduled.

paula 4 Posted December 27, 2004 hahaha, I thought the same thing all day long. The last 3 days the weather has been cloudy, cold - really COLD (high in the mid 30's), even some sleet at times. Gets old fast. I told Mike today that the south has me spoiled, cant take all that cold and wet crap!
