chewbug26 0 Posted January 14, 2017 I'm a little over 2 weeks post op, and I've been sticking to the foods In my diet plan. I've dropped a total of 19 lbs but today I weighed myself again and I've gained back 3 lbs.. could this be because I'm about to get my period in 3 days? Please tell me it's just hormones and I'm not messing this up somehow Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

suzzzzz 1,005 Posted January 14, 2017 Yes, just like before surgery. Search forum for stall, not losing to find a lot of info.

huskergirl1972 3 Posted January 19, 2017 I had the very same thing happen, lost 25 lbs in first two weeks. Week three I started soft foods and had no change in weight for a full week. Period started, lasted for a week and finally now at week six weight loss has started again. Just be patient...seems the two/three week stall is common and then the PMS weight adds to it. Kaylamh 144 Posted January 19, 2017 The three week stall is very very real. Look into it. Your period can cause some fluctuation too
Erissel 12 Posted January 19, 2017 Same thing happened to me. I was losing weight great then hit week 3, got my period, and gained a pound. I only started losing weight again about 2 weeks later.
