Enjoy it. It doesn't last.

I know, here comes little miss sunshine, lol.

I did enjoy not being hungry for about 18 months, though. That's a lot longer than a lot of people!

@ Babbs (because I like what you have to say) question...Did you struggle with food addiction? If yes, curious how your journey went. Any tips for those of us, what worked or didn't work. I'm 3 weeks post and I know the surgery is only a tool. Wondering how/ what successful food addicts do to prevent turning to food. Assuming you want to share of course

It's super weird not to spend all day planning all the crap I'm gonna eat next! My entire perspective on food has changed.

I'm almost four months out and sometimes I just forget to eat. On really busy days, sometimes, I'll get ready for bed and be like "oh shit i need food" lol.

If you'd told me five months ago that I'd go from thinking about food all day every day to frequently having to remind myself to eat, I would never have believed you.
