mmy 62 Posted January 13, 2017 Throwing ideas out there... maybe try a low FODMAP diet for a while? It can ease IBS symptoms if that's what it is. And try to see if your doctor can see you sooner? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App Hi . I just had a look at FODMAP diet and oh dear there is nothing left to eat now .. I'll try to follow it for few days though to see if symptoms ease but for sure I can not follow this diet forever.. there must be another solution for IBS assuming the symptoms I have are truly IBS!! I wish I could see my doctor sooner but I don't think there is a way unless I go through Emergency and my condition is not considered to be an emergency to them!! FunkyMunkyBrat 205 Posted January 14, 2017 I know you said you didn't your doc appt is a little ways away but I would call them and express your concern and get in to see them.. As you said it's not normal for you and it's really not happy.. Better to get ahead of it whatever it is.. Good luck! Munky
Elegance 0 Posted November 12, 2017 I have done the surgery more than 2 years ago and I still get those cycles of diarrhea , eating yogurt before going to bed helped me for a while and my bowel movements seemed normal . the thing is that I don't get the diarrhea throw the whole day I just get in the first part of day from waking up until midday I seem to loose every thing during that period and then no bowl movements until the second day
