James Marusek 5,244 Posted January 11, 2017 After surgery it can be difficult to meet your daily Fluid requirements. It affects some people more than others. When I was in the hospital, I couldn't even drink the Water because my taste buds changed and the Water tasted overly chlorinated. I was looking at a magazine today and came across an interesting invention, and I alway like new inventions. It was called a Citrus Zinger infuser water bottle. It seemed like a neat idea. I wondered if anyone who underwent bariatric surgery ever used this type of product and whether they liked it. Especially if they were having problems getting in their fluids. http://www.target.com/p/citrus-zinger-infuser-water-bottle-28-oz-blue/-/A-26391762

asantiago 89 Posted January 12, 2017 Hello James. I do have a Water infuse bottle. Amazon has them and they have good ones. I put lemon in my water or strawberry for flavor. I am also able to tolerate ice cold water than room temperature. Give it a try. ????????

Drinking with a straw tends to introduce air into the tummy. Sent from my Y538 using the BariatricPal App
ColleenErin1974 195 Posted January 17, 2017 I'm pre-op and I have an infuser bottle. There is no straw on the one I got. You can put all different things in it to liven up plain Water. I got mine on Amazon. Just search for Water bottles/infusion bottles and you'll find them. I paid $12 for mine!
