time4change2017 15 Posted January 11, 2017 Today is my last day of liquid diet. Tomorrow I finally get to have puréed foods. I'm not sure what to try. Please give me some examples and advise on what is good to try. Thank you. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

JamieLogical 8,713 Posted January 11, 2017 http://theworldaccordingtoeggface.blogspot.com/2007/08/pureed-foods.html The baked ricotta is AMAZING, but there are tons of other great recipes for all food stages on that site as well.
hayleyf3706 150 Posted January 11, 2017 I made a retried bean purée last night I LOVED. Gonna develop a recipe soon. But the basics are: I can fat free retried Beans 2tbsp lime juice 1 c beef broth 1/4c cheese Seasonings to taste- chili powder, garlic powder, and cumin are what I used. Purée in food processor/blender. Then heat! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
heidikat72 935 Posted January 11, 2017 I second Jamie's post. that blog and in particular her post on puree stage were great inspiration for me then. I eased into purees by starting with greek yogurt and once that seemed to do ok, i tried a little refried Beans, then went to the ricotta bake. and from there did purees of tuna or chicken or salmon or eggs with greek yogurt - pureed tuna salad was more appealing to me than just throwing a chicken breast and broth in a blender! Considering the puree phase is fairly short (for me it was 2 weeks), that was enough variety - especially with the flavored tuna and salmon pouches changing things up daily. Good luck, take it slow and it will end soon and you can move on to the next phase!

Vee16 33 Posted January 11, 2017 I made Spanish Beans and puréed them. I also made steak in sauce and puréed that. It's soooooo good. I can eat about 3-5 tables spoons of each but not together.
