britt_will_getsleeved17 0 Posted January 10, 2017 I was just wondering if everyone had to complete a endoscopy as requirements with Aetna POS or any other insurance? I am basically asking is this a automatic requirement. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
savyourdvine1 110 Posted January 10, 2017 Not every insurance require it. Mine did not. However, my clinic did. Sent from my SM-J700P using the BariatricPal App

britt_will_getsleeved17 0 Posted January 10, 2017 I recently had my gallbladder removed in December 2016. I have had a endoscopy a few years ago. I hope I do not have to complete one again. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
SLIMPICKENS55 41 Posted January 10, 2017 I had endoscopy, they found H Pylori which was bad. I had to get rid of that before I could move forward. They told me that's one of the things they look for, because u don't heal properly with having the H Pylori virus Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
erica_ozzy73 241 Posted January 10, 2017 I was suppose to have one cause I'm over 40. I didn't as I was an uninsured patient and they tried to keep the costs down. They did find a small hiatus hernia during the op which they just fixed. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

hikerdog 45 Posted January 11, 2017 I'm 47 and I have insurance. I only had to do a barium swallow test we showed no problems. I think if they had seen any problems they might have also done the endoscope.
