Ok, I have to make a costco trip this week for household stuff like TP, but I was thinking about other things I may want to try or stock up on there, I am only 10 day post op so only about to start puréed food but I was going to do some label reading for planning for later stages. I am just curious, what are your Costco finds that you love post surgery? I already have things like Premier shakes on my list but please share what you love from Costco.

Please don't over-stock on the Premier shakes. I got them for a recent weekend trip I did, just to have handy in case I couldn't "make a shake" in my room but I'm not a fan.

Tzasiki, hummus, yogurt, cottage cheese and ricotta are all good puree stage foods.

Canned buffalo chicken (great puréed with ranch and blue cheese)

Indian summer sauces (puréed with chicken or paneer)

Grilled chicken strips

Paneer

Amy's Thai coconut Soup (puréed with chicken)

Mashed avocado

meat balls (puréed with a no sugar added marinara)

Premier Protein shakes are $5 off this month. Good time to stop up if you like them. I do.

I have been drinking the premier shakes somewhat, they are not my favorite but they are good in a pinch, if I am home I am making my own shakes but I use the premier when I go to work

Thanks for some of these ideas all, I'm excited to go explore and see what I can find that I haven't tried

They have some really good 3-packs of Beans in the refrigerated section: refried, Latin, and red Beans. They got me through purees.

Also, when you're cleared for it, costco carries delicious tuna poke in season.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
