I really don’t know if this is normal or if I am just lucky but on day five I feel a lot better. Gas pains have subsided, got a little more sleep, and any pain I’ve been having seems to be general soreness at the incision site and a little pain if I move faster than I probably should. I didn’t do anything special for the gas pains, just try to keep moving and the hint from James Marusek on sleeping in a recliner for a little bit seems to be a big help. I haven’t felt like I had to take any pain meds and in all honesty I’m getting a little claustrophobic so I think I’m going to head outside a little later this evening. My primary food right now is still Water and Jell-O, but at this point it doesn’t seem to bother me. I’ve spoke to a couple people who call this the honeymoon phase and at some point you are going to get some type of craving, I’ll just have to wait and see.
