Ssze1109 163 Posted January 9, 2017 Corn chips may be a trigger food. I would pass them up. I am allowed crunchy food now. I found some lentil crackers at home goods and was able to eat a couple and stop. But if I tried corn chips that would just lead to other bad choices. I need some carbs or I feel foggy and fatigued. I try for good carbs though. Like I tell my 17 year old daughter when she leaves the house. " make good choices" Good luck in your choices may they be good ones! Julie2879 35 Posted January 10, 2017 I have actually tried dehydrated cucumber slices. If you have a dehydrator, slice the cucumbers in about 1/8 inch rounds and put them in. When they are done, they have the crunch you are looking for, and they are far better for you than chips or crackers. That's the thing with these cravings, most of the time it's for something we shouldn't be eating. I have found that if you are creative, you can usually find some alternative and healthier. It's all about our choices. Sometimes we do slip, but this is also a learning process. A lot of us are so used to eating whatever we want and however much we want of it. This is a whole new world, and we are in this together!
