Leslie Grasham Jacobs 2 Posted January 9, 2017 I'm doing very well recovering with the post op pain, walking drinking Water and getting in most of the required Protein. My BIG question is... I still feel hungry!! It's not head hunger.There's a lot of growling going on. I'm taking an antacid and today, being my first full day home took it as directed every 12 hours. Any advise?? Vee16 33 Posted January 9, 2017 I felt the strong sensation of hunger on the 5th and 6th day then it was gone. I'm now 3 weeks post and have to remind myself to eat. I suggest drinking Water, tea, broth or shakes every 10 min. I mean have a sip all day. CapeCodVSG 0 Posted January 9, 2017 I'm 5 days post-op. I'm allowed to eat yogurt and I add a little milk to thin it a bit and put in a little Protein powder. rosestara 48 Posted January 9, 2017 I am 5 days post op and constantly feel like I am starving to death. The hunger pains wake me up at night. I take a acid reducer twice a day.
