LittleBill 2,231 Posted January 6, 2017 @@LittleBill I hope the neighbors didn't have to call the cops on you last night. LOL We are far enough out that the cops have to look on a map to find us. And I have that from a cop that was here for an accident in front of the house one time. And the neighbors are blissfully unaware. They don't hear the alarm on my shop if it goes off, and a lot of the time they don't hear us shooting guns! Hey, don't forget to crush the cans on your forehead before throwing them on the floor, then all you need are peanuts where you can throw shells on the floor with some sawdust, jk don't eat peanuts. LOL You are alot of fun to chat with. Sent from my 0PM92 using the BariatricPal App You're tempting me you know...

gowalking 10,790 Posted January 7, 2017 @@gowalking So, you laid down the law - no ifs, ands, or butts! What part of PA is your son moving to? He might not be all that far from where I am. East Stroudsburg. They had a summer place up there and liked it so much that they decided to make it their home full time. I hope they make it through the winter though...I don't know how much they realize they are in the Pocono Mountains...and how much that will impact the amount of snow they will be dealing with. Are you near them...or far far away? I recall so well how big the state of Pennsylvania is when we drove through it a few years ago and wound up at the end of it in Ohio. For a NY'er like me, Ohio might as well be a million miles away. LOL.
LittleBill 2,231 Posted January 7, 2017 @@gowalking I am about an hour away, near the Lehigh Valley. I grew up in the Poconos. They won't have as much snow as they would in someplace like Mt. Pocono or Blakeslee. We always thought of Stroudsburg and Eastburg as being in the bottom of the bowl. It was always hotter, and they always had less snow back in the day. Our middle daughter lives out at the other end of the state, as close to OH as East Stroudsburg is to NJ. We spend a lot of time on the road, let me tell you.
