Mizmissy 3 Posted January 4, 2017 Hello all..I'm new to the group. I was sleeved almost a month ago and in my mushy stage now per my doctor's order. I would really like to get suggestions with meal preps as I'm tired of tuna salads..Also I have a problem of regurgitation almost every time I eat anything, does this mean I'm eating too much? Aggiemae 739 Posted January 4, 2017 Yes, you bring up food you ate to much. Measure you food into your bowl or plate and eat slowly, it didn't take me much time to find the fine last need between enough and one bite to much. I eat lots of chicken and fish. At mushy I mixed Protein with a 1/2 teaspoon of potato flakes and a tablespoon of Milk so it would be moist. Also ate lots of pureed chicken Soup, sometimes with a teaspoon of sour cream. I make 2-5 days of meals at once. Honestly, other that an occasional craving for popcorn or chocolate, I don't care about food like I did before WLS and happily eat whatever container happens to be in the front of the shelf. Vinasu 621 Posted January 4, 2017 Or you're eating too fast. Of you're carefully measuring your food, try using a bite timer. The denser the Protein, the longer you'll need to eat it. Sent from my SM-G925V using the BariatricPal App
Pam924 84 Posted January 4, 2017 For a different meal choice, try extra lean ground turkey with a pack of taco mix and extra Water to make it thinner ... be sure to really break the turkey up while you are cooking it so it is very fine ... then enjoy with some melted cheddar on top. But do eat it slowly! about an ounce over 1/2 an hour should make it OK. Good luck.
