RLHgetsVSG 25 Posted January 24, 2017 Hi! I am in Cincinnati, having my surgery through Dr. Curry on Feb 13th. Can anyone that's had the surgery offer any advice that you feel your Dr didn't cover? Samsung Galaxy S7
JMarshall 352 Posted January 24, 2017 I'm in Cincinnati. I had my sleeve 5 years ago and I am down about 290 pounds overall with my highest weight being 540 pounds. If I had any advice to give it would be to focus primarily on liquids after surgery. After surgery I had to be readmitted to the hospital due to severe dehydration and borderline kidney failure. I was in the hospital for about 4 days getting a Fluid drip and had to work on getting more Water down before I was released . I have never been a big drinker my whole life, so I know that part of my struggle will be having to force myself to drink while feeling bad. millerlillygirl 12 Posted January 25, 2017 (edited) I am scheduled for 1/26 and I'm probably going to spell this wrong but I'm getting the roux en y with the band, being done at Cleveland Clinic Main Campus. This 2 week liquid diet has been the worst keeping in mind everyone tells me it will be worth it!
