clevergirl 41 Posted January 2, 2017 I remember reading once that there was a place to order supplements that insurance would pay for? HELP! Also, are there any inexpensive resources for Protein powder? Do any of you use a subscription type service that automatically sends your Vitamins and supplements? LMSWNYC 119 Posted January 3, 2017 I would recommend trying small batches because of different Protein powders or ready prepared shakes. This will help you save money because after surgery your taste buds might change or certain supplements may not sit well. Even with the Vitamins. Make sure you can tolerate them before you order in bulk. I use Bariatric Advantage vitamins and Calcium. I also use the GNC lean shakes and gold standard 100% whey protein - vanilla icecream ???? flavor. I can add anything to it if i want to change the flavor. LMSWNYC 119 Posted January 3, 2017 Ask your nutritionist or bariatric center for samples. They usually have plenty of samples
