Durgan340 0 Posted January 1, 2017 (edited) The weight battle in general has always been a struggle. I had lap-band surgery in 2008 and was maintaining until the band malfunctioned 7 months ago. The sleeve has been more painful and I realize how much I miss food. I now weigh 278 ponds and my goal is 180 because I'm 5'11. I have not lost any weight yet, and I am hoping for success. I am willing to put in the work. Weight loss surgery is not a quick fix like so many people think it is, many just don't understand the struggle. jsav2017 1 Posted January 1, 2017 (edited) I had my sleeve done on the 28th. I'm right there with you. The mental part of this is so much harder than I thought it would be. Just know someone else out there understands what you are going through. That seems to help me a little bit. Knowing I'm not alone.
