imnumber25 0 Posted January 1, 2017 I have been approved with Dr. Lousiana Valenzula in Mexico for a band to sleeve revision. Anyone have experience with this and can give me insight as to what to expect from travel to accommodations to procedure, etc. I have had my band 7+ years with limited success and difficulty the last couple of years with reflux to the point of having band filled and unfilled. As much information as anyone can provide I will be grateful.

clc9 644 Posted January 1, 2017 Most surgeons don't want to do the sleeve for people with significant GERD. If you have it, it get's worse. If you don't have it, you have a 10% chance of having it after surgery. Bypass seems to be the surgery of choice for GERD sufferers.
