Question about tomato soup?

I'm on Phase 2 liquids. The list includes strained cream Soups. Would Tomato Soup be ok?

Yes. Just make sure it doesn't have bits of Tomato skin.

Yes - Tomato Soup was on my list as long as it was low sodium and strained our pieces. I liked Pacific Organic low sodium cream of Tomato and I also liked Trader Joe's low sodium cream of tomato. Still do :-)

I did cream of chicken, Tomato Soup, and cream of mushroom. Just strained everything to make sure no clumps

My diet guide specifically tells me to avoid Tomato Soup because of the high acidity. When I asked, I was told to wait because you want as little irritation as possible at first.

Tomato Soup was allowed on my diet right away and it went down fine with no ill effects
