cyberdiva 47 Posted December 31, 2016 I am not a medical person at all, but I did a great deal of research before my surgery. I have heard that some become lactose intolerant after WLS and some stop being lactose intolerant. I would certainly talk to my medical staff about this situation and stay hydrated. jacuzzigirl 1 Posted January 4, 2017 I couldnt handle dairy for a few months. I can tolerate it in small amounts now (15 months post op) but seem to tolerate milk a-okay. I am impressed that you can get 8 glasses of Water down ???? Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G930A using the BariatricPal App

sasharbinx 115 Posted January 4, 2017 I take a Fiber supplement and have had a light but regular bowel movement by day 5, no more diarrhea. I suggest that if you aren't taking it already Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

sasharbinx 115 Posted January 4, 2017 Is it a pill? I should tell about that to my surgeon Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App Yes! The kind I have comes in a capsule. I bought them before surgery when I figured my Fiber intake would lower going on a liquid diet! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
