AC3 51 Posted December 30, 2016 I'm so light headed. Is this normal? I'm not getting all 48oz in liquids but I'm close and I'm eating only as much as I can. Domika03 309 Posted December 30, 2016 YES, I used to & still do get light headed from time to time. I believe it's because we're not getting enough Protein (energy) in our systems. Great job on the liquids - impressive :-)

Great job on the liquids - impressive :-) Oh. It's not everyday. Lol. Some times only a liter. And maybe a 16.9 Water bottle. I need to find another way to get Protein in bc the shakes make me sick sometimes. How far are you ? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
ozbigman 33 Posted December 30, 2016 I'm 4 weeks post VSG and was getting very light headed and my blood pressure was very low (70/55) so I was checked back in to hospital and had four litres of Fluid pumped in to me as I was also dehydrated, so I would suggest to speak with your GP or surgeon to have a check up. I was also struggling to get 1.5 litres in every day, but having just been back in hospital for two days I am making it a priority. Good luck. LittleBill 2,231 Posted December 30, 2016 I was very lightheaded for a while, but it is getting better. My BP went from normal before surgery to low after surgery. I've been getting plenty of Water, but it seems like it might be related to quick weight loss as well. In any case, there were a number of times I thought I was going to black out completely, and many many more where I just fuzzed out a little, but they have been getting less and less. I will be three months post op on 1/11.
