Now an October bandster!

I was scheduled for 9/25 but at my pre-op today found out it had been postponed. The doctor will be out of town due to a family matter next week. I cried when they told me. The doc put his arm around me and told me not to worry, that it will get done. I was already nervous and second-guessing my every decision. This was NOT what I needed!

I started thinking "What if this is a sign that I'm not meant to do this?!" Even though I know it's what I'm supposed to do.

It stinks having to wait longer but at least it's only a week.

I'm sorry you have to wait an extra week. That really stinks! Patience is NOT one of my virtues, so I truly do feel your pain. But it will happen and in the long run, that one week won't make any difference when you look at the rest of your new life. I believe there is a reason for everything, so hang in there. We'll be there anytime you need us!! Here's a group hug just for you!!
