nbkhqlv 0 Posted September 18, 2007 I don't know much about lap band. I have read a few articles on the internet. I am attending a siminar tomorrow by a local surgeon. Has anyone had the procedure? What should I expect? I have TONS of questions. I know most of them will get answered tomorrow, but I am excited and want to talk about them NOW! Shoot me some advice. Yep, a few of us have. Lots of your questions will get answered tomorrow night, but I certainly understand your desire to know NOW. I was there once myself. My best advice to you is to read, read, read. There is a VERY important forum here, the FAQ and References Forum, go to the home page, and scroll down and click on it. There you will find things like lists of what to buy for when you get home from the hospital, references about the band itself and most importantly for you for tomorrow night: a list of questions to take to ask the surgeon. faithmd 14 Posted September 18, 2007 Yep, sure am. It is NOT the magical fix for fat, it takes work and committment and determination, the band is merely a TOOL. You have to be in the right place in your head, but once you are there, this is the best tool I can imagine.
