xogipsy 1 Posted December 28, 2016 Hello Guys, I have a question ? So I am exactly one month post op and lately everything I get and drink makes me nauseous and sometimes or most times causes some vomiting. I am on the mushy/purée stage right now and I'm ALWAYS hungry. I am eating anywhere between 3-4 ounces of food. I am satisfied for a little bit but then I get super hungry again. I am almost afraid to eat cause I'm scared to vomit or feel nauseous. My question is did anybody else experience this. If so how long does it last and how can I prevent it ? I don't have an appointment with my surgeon for another week so I'm desperate for some help ! Lol also I know this may be TMI but my vomit is like a clear salvia with little chunks/pieces of food . MFM008 44 Posted December 28, 2016 Maybe an ulcer. I have one. I am 8 weeks out. Still nauseated nothing has taste and I can only eat a few bites at a time. Stomach pain to. Tell your surgical team. Sent from my SGH-M919 using the BariatricPal App
adriant 109 Posted December 28, 2016 Yes I had a horrible time with constant vomiting, they put a camera down last week and found that the stomach is still swollen hence me not able to keep anything down. Since they have increased my anti-acids and things are beginning to settle down, last evening I had a nice bowl of stew and all was good. You need to talk with the doctor's who did your surgery, they need to rule out many things first, also dehydration is dangerous so please call them. Best of luck.
