rosefromcali 12 Posted December 28, 2016 So I received the letter from my surgeons office finally approving the blood work test to get the ball rolling. I did see one of the tests required were Vitamin deficiency. I know I currently have a Vitamin D deficiency that I'm working on with a prescription. Does anyone know if that may disqualify me, or is this just routine? I've attached a picture of the labs required. Thanks in advanced on any info you all can help with. sill21 69 Posted December 28, 2016 It won't disqualify you they'll just tell you to take Vitamin D from now on till it's not low Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

sill21 69 Posted December 28, 2016 You're welcome. A lot of people are deficient on Vitamins and the doctor usually just tells you to take them so you're not alone Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

Vinasu 621 Posted December 28, 2016 I'm in Oregon. Just about every single adult I know takes Vitamin D. I was deficient as well, and surgery proceeded as scheduled. Sent from my SM-G925V using the BariatricPal App
