carolynh 13 Posted December 26, 2016 I'm 4 days PO and getting down around 250 calories a day. Should I be concerned? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
tonyagetstiny 12 Posted December 26, 2016 No that's perfectly normal I'm only 4 weeks post op and I get about the same. Just focus on your fluids and I wish you the best. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

Mimiof3 33 Posted December 26, 2016 I'm 5 days post op and it's very hard to get my liquids in...my Husband is concerned that I'm getting dehydrated and I probably am but it hurts to drink in bigger portions...I'm sorta scared that I'm doing something wrong...I know each day will get better as I heal but I honestly didn't know it was going to be this hard

theantichick 2,204 Posted December 26, 2016 The first week I was working all day just trying to make my Fluid goals and get a little Protein in. Just keep at it, sip sip sip all day. Fluid is most important, Protein is 2nd important, and calories don't really matter for the first couple of weeks according to my surgeon.
