spowell 14 Posted December 25, 2016 Does anyone else have trouble with your mulivitamins? Today is day 6 and I actually threw them up. Ugh! Sent from my SM-G900V using the BariatricPal App
krisrny 2 Posted December 25, 2016 Yes! My doctor recommended 2 chewable Flinstones for Multivitamin and the Iron taste makes me either vomit or want to vomit Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
krisrny 2 Posted December 25, 2016 I'm thinking of trying patch MD Multivitamin Patches instead of the Flinstones because it's so hard to take them Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

djsambo 10 Posted January 10, 2017 I am on Celebrate multi, Calcium, Iron and B12. They all make my stomach upset. The calcium is way too big and it tastes bad. The b12 is a small meltaway, Iron doesn't taste bad and the multi is so so. They are all fruity flavored and I find that after my surgery 2 months ago, the taste of them is almost unbearable. I haven't been taking them as I should and I know that's bad, but hopefully I can switch to the pill form soon. Also switching to the calcium chews which taste much better. 1 GetITOFF reacted to this
gonzodsoldier19 0 Posted January 17, 2017 Okay so I eat the tums candy they have mint and cherry. The Centrum chewable Gummy and there was this B12 and Calcium that dissolve in your mouth but they are hit and miss with the palate so definitely chewable is the way to go. I did disintegrated Vitamin into the pudding and that seemed to do the trick also. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
Dennis Robins 19 Posted February 13, 2017 I've been on Vitamin pills since one day post op. Have you consulted your doctor? I would be nervous to miss my Vitamins :-/
spowell 14 Posted February 14, 2017 I can't keep the chewable multi Vitamin down I am starting the pill form tomorrow. Sent from my SM-G900V using the BariatricPal App
spowell 14 Posted May 6, 2017 The pill form still makes me sick sometimes if I don't have enough food in my stomach. Sent from my SM-G900V using BariatricPal mobile app
nygirl77 9 Posted May 25, 2017 I just ordered a trial of Tespo Vitamins. You might want to give them a try since the vitamins are liquid and the absorption should be higher! I'll let you know how I like it!
hmills653 365 Posted July 11, 2017 my chewable made me sick. I ordered Patches but I'm worried that they won't be enough. I ordered some Bariatric Advantage multivitamin chews. I'll let you know how they taste. But I habe the bariatric advantage calcium chews in strawberry and love them.
RandyJ 12 Posted July 19, 2017 It took me a while to get used to taking Vitamins after surgery. I couldn't keep them diwn so I didn't try to force it. As time passed, it got easier and now they are a daily habit. I still hate them, but not because they make me feel sick. Give it some time.
