They don't do that in Canada. We're supposed to quit but I couldn't then. I have quit since though! Try vaping the lowest amount of nicotine. That's how I quit! 1 osborne.t.corey reacted to this
gryffen 176 Posted December 23, 2016 In our area if you want surgery via NHS you must quit for 6 weeks or start process all over again. If you do want the surgery then quit. I have smoked and each time I wanted cigarettes I put the money into a tub over the space of a year - I paid for my wedding (all of it) plus and two week Mexico honeymoon with what I saved. I smoked for 20 years, but was able to quit during both my pregnancies because of something I wanted more than a cigarette. I finally quit smoking for good when I decided that I was too fat and unhealthy. I quit smoking cold turkey, but it took me almost 8 years to do anything permanent about my weight. Quitting isn't easy, but rarely is anything worth doing. Good Luck!
Sai 785 Posted December 23, 2016 Get a ecig mod, and vape zero nicotine juice for 12 days before test, and you'll pass. You'll miss the nicotine but you'll at least be able to satisfy going through the "motions" of exhaling vapor.

shedo82773 1,236 Posted December 24, 2016 I quit so many times!! I quit for 20 years one time and picked them back up when my baby daughter decided when she graduated from High School that she would move in with her boy- friend!!! I would always pick them up when something happened in my life, they were like my best friend!! But I have been quit now for 9 years and I have 0 desire to ever smoke again!! The test that I put myself thru was whenever I would have a beer I always wanted a smoke!! Well, I quit with CHANTEX and as I live and breath I have not looked back or desired even a puff!! They are disgusting totally!! When you use Chantex you smoke for the 1st week as you take the pills. I wrote my quit date on the calendar when I got up that morning I didn't even think about smoking!! AWESOME stuff!! Now I know now that you can use Chantex for 3 months but I used it 1 month and I was done!! If you want this go out and get it!! You will quit!! GOOD LUCK
Frenchie1977 262 Posted December 26, 2016 I quit smoking before my surgery to pass my nicotine test and I'm not gonna lie I hated it. I quit 21 days before my test . It sucked but I had to do it, I even postponed my surgery twice because I was having trouble quitting smoking, but in the end I buckled down and quit because the surgery was so important to me. Vamping did not work for me, I had to quit cold turkey. The truth is if you want it bad enough you will find a way to do it. And btw I smoked for over 20 yrs prior to quitting.
