Just wondering how you did first time with uncooked veggies and salads ? I can have them but am afraid to try them

personally I was fine, but everyone is different. Take it slow and your body will tell you.

I was cleared to try anything at 5 weeks out. I took it slow but by about 7 weeks I was able to try small amounts of most things, including most fruits and veggies. Chew well and eat slowly.

Ditto. I started with 3 small bites of Caesar salad at about 6 weeks postop, and have worked my way to a few more bites. No problems. I haven't actually sat down and eaten a raw carrot yet, but I probably could if I had a craving for one. Start small and see how it feels. Easier to recover from a bite or two if things go wrong.
