tearsofapache 1 Posted December 19, 2016 Hey all, I am 2 days pre-op from my roux-en-y. I have an old analog scale that changes its readings every time anyone gets on it and I really need a new scale. I am looking for suggestions from anyone who's had experience with the scales that measure your body fat/muscle at home? Which is generally more accurate? Which should I avoid? Thanks in advance. Thanks in advance.I reccomend the Weight Watchers Body Fat scale, it tells you your weight, but also you can customize it for up to 4 people to measure body fat, Water percentage, bone density and bmi. It's awesome and accurate, and is important because sometimes you don't lose weight, but you do lose fat Sent from my LG-K330 using the BariatricPal App
Pazza 199 Posted December 19, 2016 I have a fit bit Aria scale and I really like it. But I have a fit bit too. It is nice that everything syncs and is tracked. I think it is pretty accurate but I treat them all as giving a general idea of how things are. Not 100 percent. Measuring bone density would be cool. I liked this article but would also recommend checking consumer reports. http://www.livestrong.com/article/184126-most-accurate-body-weight-scales/ Best of luck!
