Redmaxx 740 Posted December 14, 2016 Had my RNY surgery on 20 Oct 16 and have felt great everyday. However, today I feel light headed (almost drunk feeling) and I had to force myself to eat (only ate dinner). I came home from work sick and went to sleep. I only sleep during the day if I am really sick. I checked my sugar and it was fine. I am hoping that I feel better tomorrow. Redmaxx 740 Posted December 14, 2016 Thank you. I came into work today still feeling a little lightheaded. Forced myself to walk and felt a little better. When I got back to my desk I found out that most of my team has been sick since last week. I didn't know that and now I know why I wasn't feeling well. GBLady41 393 Posted December 19, 2016 Well, I don't know if it will help, but I had gastric bypass on December 12th, and when I left to come home on the 17th, I was at the airport and bought some Gatorade fruit Punch. I had a few sips. It was really sweet to me, so I tried to dilate it with Water. I took a few more sips. Then a few minutes later, I felt lightheaded. I figured it was the sugar in the Gatorade. So I bought some Glacéau Vitamin Water Revive Fruit Punch, and the lightheadedness stopped. Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App
