Diet... misnomers

Recommended Posts

Hey Stingy...

Just got to thinking....

Who is going to FEED you in your bubble that you won't share that will have the pee thing figured out soon?

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm?????????????

Who eats any more? I mean everything is so dammed toxic!

:Humpfh:

Any way my bubble designer (my DH) says my bubble will have an air lock. Apparently I will have a portable toilet in the air lock that will be removed and sterilised by my slaves, I mean, my family. The will also serve me organic bubble grown food, and double filtered spring Water through the air lock.

Apparently it will also be sound proof.

And locked from the outside.

:pound:

Okay, I gotta do it...

I'm selling the key. Highest bidder!

I think you would have to pry it from my DH's cold dead hands. He wants to make sure I stay in there a LONG time!! :help:

True, especially if the bubble is made of latex. :D

Ya, there we go again with another issue. MY DD allergic to latex so what do I do for her? And now you talk of toxic pee...lol....

I think we should all run away and becoem mermaids under the ocean, eat only kelp and drink only purfied pixie Water that we find across the shores....becaue anything made by a pixie is SAFE right?? It has to be it's magic.....much like that book maybe??

Oh no, Pixies are really very vicious and dirty creatures. We wouldn't want their Water.

And have you seen our shorelines? Ewwww.

But maybe the Book will show us the way.

See... those were things I was wondering about. For example, my nuteritonist reccomended diet soft drinks... and artifical sweetners instead of suger/honey. But I've been wondering if the chemical alternative really is better. And I was sure that honey had some really good properties to it.

(I just felt like I'm not exactly in a position to question that while I'm at a crucial part of teh weight loss.)

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
