How tall are you? How many calories, carbs, and grams of Protein are you taking in each day? What do you do for exercise?

Three months isn't a stall, it's maintenance. Unless there is something very weird going on, you need to cut down on your calories and up your exercise. If you haven't already, figure out precisely how many calories you are taking in each day and lower that by at least 200.

If you are very confident that you know precisely how many calories you are taking in (you are weighing your portions, tracking everything on MFP, not having "cheat" days or "treat" meals or taking little tastes and bites here and there) and your calories are below 1200 per day, you may want to check in with your medical team and/or get your resting metabolic rate tested.

Good luck!

Calories are likely your problem. At your age, height, and weight, you are consuming about the number of calories you would need to maintain if you are more or less sedentary.

If I were you, I'd schedule your appointment with your nutritionist and work with him/her to map out a plan for yourself. I'd also get back to journaling everything you eat and drink in a day.

Good luck!

Do you have "my fitness pal" app? You input you info, how much you want to lose and it will tell you how many calories you shouldn't excess to reach that goal. It tracks you carbs, calories, sugar, activity etc. it really is an awesome tool. Oh and I just got a $40 off coupon for under armour for posting my meals for 30 days! SCORE!

my NUT says that i should be around 1000 calories/day while im losing. We have very close BMIs right now so i have to agree with the others and say that you need to cut the calories down. good luck!

I'm 5'7 and I maintain at 1600 calories a day. My mom is 5'3 and cannot lose unless she eats less than 1000 calories a day. She maintains at 1200. Generally the smaller, shorter, older you are the less calories you need. You definitely need to lower those calories to continue losing. I would suggest trying nothing but lean meats and veggies until you kickstart the weight loss again. Stay away from any forms of sugar, even sweeteners, until you've reached goal. Then have sparingly.

You've got this!

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
