@@Bill T thanks for the doculax. I did get some and only took 1 vs 4. Omg I think I would have imploded lol. It worked great and after 5 days it was nice to go.

My surgeon office said I could take dulcolax so I took one only... I agree I would have died taking 4 . I was constipated badly , without going into detail. But I feel a lot better.

definitely check with your medical team. but i was allowed to take stool softeners (they recommended Colace) immediately - in fact for the first couple weeks they told us to take two a day. Then the general rule was if we went more than 3 days without a BM, take a dose of milk of magnesia (they preferred that over Miralax early out)
