rebecca wills 190 Posted December 7, 2016 I had surgery 6/30/16 and all along I have experienced restriction. The reality is that now all I can eat at one time is 5-6 bites. So I've found that I've got to scope out and plan what is part of my meal. At this point I eat what I feel like, which is always nutritious. But it's over as quick as it's began. Teaspoon or two of veggies and two teaspoons of yam will go on my plate. It's rare I finish it all. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
rebecca wills 190 Posted December 8, 2016 I'm not weighing it, my nutritionist showed me what my plate should look like. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

Lynneez 1 Posted December 10, 2016 Ooops! Accidentally hit the post button. What I meant to say is that at post op 4 to 6 weeks I was told to eat 4 tablespoons (1/4) cup at each meal and to eat 3 to 4 times a day. At max at 6 weeks to 3 months I was told to eat 8 tablespoons, which is only half a cup. Not sure how far out you are, but essentially, all my meals are just a few bites and I'm told that's fine and basically will always eat like this (max 1/2 cup a meal forever).
