Polarbearwifey 25 Posted December 7, 2016 SW: 265 lbs CW: 244 lbs Here I am. In the hospital after having munsrgery yesterday at 1230. I'm not gonna lie. I was so mad that I just want it to punch my husband so hard for convince me this was the best option after try losing weight and 0 results Lol this was painful for me. Is like having contractions (mothers will undertand the pain) For a second I didn't even want to have more kids smh. But here I am feeling better, recovery is going really well. Following Dr. Whipple's instructions. They make you walk every hour your awake for 5 mins. Yesterday was like climbing Mount Everest but late at night I was doing it faster and without pain. The first 6-8 hours are horrible and I was asking myself if it was worth it. It is worth it after all. This is for our health people; to make us happy and satisfied, to see our kids grow up, leave longer... EAT TO SURVIVE, NOT SURVIVE TO EAT!! First day, ice chips( small pieces of ice). Second day, clear liquid diet. Sip Water, eat the ices chips very carefully. In my case, I have to wait 30 secs before putting another spoon of ice in my mouth. *****Dr. Whipple at Memorial Health Hospital in Savannah, GA: the best surgeon in the world. Funny, carismatic, he is just a lovy dobi. He calm my anxiety and my nerves before surgery. I was so anxious and nobody could calm me down but him, not even my hubby (he was eating Taco Bell, Chipotle, Pizzas in front of me ugh I was furious but that's another story.) Returning to Dr. Whipple, he used his carismatic attitud to make sure I was calm and stress out "you are going to be alright, don't worry, I will take care of you." He is just an awesom and amazing surgeon. I recommend him tho. 5 stars, 200% Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
