my surgery is 12/21 and but I don't have to go liquid until 12/20. I think Im goign to start a day early so its not such a shock to my system.

They told me to go liquid the day before surgery but I am starting early on the advice of my son who has had the same surgery.

Starting my pre-op diet on December 20. Surgery scheduled for January 3. A good friend had his procedure August 1 and has gone from a HW of 407 down to 298. I am very excited!!!

The pre-op liquid diet was the hardest phase for me. Each person is different, though. Good luck! You can do this!
