bossportsgal 136 Posted December 6, 2016 I don't like drinking Water nor crystal light stuff. I love fresh ice tea and coffee. I also like sparking water. But I was told I can't drink that anymore. Any tips on how I can get the water down? And does 6 glasses of ice tea count as water. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
2ndSpring 350 Posted December 6, 2016 All liquids count towards your minimum, including Protein shakes. I like hot tea, iced tea, herbal tea, Water with lemon, starbucks passion tea without any sweetener (it is tart).
beezy8 41 Posted December 6, 2016 My nutritionist said all liquids count toward daily intake especially in the first few months when it is hard to get the volume in. So milk, Soup, shakes, tea all counted. I use a variety of Water flavor enhancers, and I do like Water, but it is still a challenge to drink all the water, even after a year. beezy8 41 Posted December 6, 2016 I also like the Lipton diet teas. I loved the fizz in drinks, but gave it up cold turkey pre op. Had a sip the other day and it made me nauseous and it hurt. Won't do that again! Sent from my SPH-L720 using the BariatricPal App
Hazel_eyez 173 Posted December 6, 2016 I like Vitamin Water zero. The only sweet drink I can tolerate.
highfunctioningfatman 2,675 Posted December 6, 2016 I mix Powerade Zero with Water 50/50. It avoids the overly sweet flavor and it is cheap. My local grocery store has them everyday for $.80 for 32 bottles.
rolosmom7 740 Posted December 7, 2016 I also mix my drinks with half Water so they don't taste sickly sweet. Vitamin water zero, g2, Powerade zero, diet cranberry. Just try lots of things
