Rachel412 116 Posted December 4, 2016 Congrats! I spent 2 nights in the hospital and went home with just liquid OTC Tylenol. I only took it a few times. Honestly the only pain I have is my incisions can be sore here and there. Recovery has felt like a piece of cake (other than the not eating part!) Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

lety.isabel 0 Posted December 5, 2016 I had my surgery on Nov. 21, was sore for about 4-5 days after surgery. The incisions will continue to feel somewhat sore for a while but you should be able to be off the pain meds by 4-5 days. Hang in there, you will feel better, take it one day at a time. genn 460 Posted December 5, 2016 I went home with in 24 hrs after having gastric bypass. Was off pain meds when I left the hospital. Went back to work three days post op. And I will be two weeks in Tuesday and feel great and down 39 lbs from my highest weight. Good luck walk walk walk. Welcome to the losers bench!!! So happy for you!!!
