Jamieson 40 Posted December 4, 2016 Depends on how long once you have gone. Don't let it go too long. Those things didn't work for me but ducolax did. I needed two of them. Now Milk of Magnesia works and I take it every three days. Be sure to drink lots of Water with whatever you take.
My4Brownies 283 Posted December 4, 2016 Benefiber was my relief after surgery..5 days I couldn't go and tried stool softeners..beenefiber was my friend for a week everyday and then the relief was amazing and now regular.. But when I feel I need it its a cabinet away and tasteless n colorless so it's not intimidating ..much success with you: D Sent from my SM-N920P using the BariatricPal App
linah 92 Posted December 4, 2016 Made veggie juice and it helped: cucumbers, celery, green apple, fresh basil was one of my favourite combos Sent from my SM-G900FD using the BariatricPal App
thprice79 20 Posted December 4, 2016 Avocado is an excellent natural laxative. At least for me . Milk of Magnesia is what I use, but the taste and texture is horrifying. Might switch to metamucil. Lema 236 Posted December 5, 2016 Milk of magnesia or as I discovered yesterday, ripe avocados. Prune juice and benefiber is nasty and does nothing for me. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
