JøAnna 34 Posted December 3, 2016 I am so glad I bought a package of baby spoons from the dollar store right before I started my second week. Since I'm allowed to have up to 2 tablespoons of applesauce, light yogurt, mashed potatoes or oatmeal for each meal 3 times a day. The baby spoons not only make it easier to eat over 20 minutes, the smaller spoons I think will trick my brain into not wanting bigger portions like before surgery. Aggiemae 739 Posted December 4, 2016 I got some at the dollar store that didn't have the rubber coating. Also a 4 pack of 4 oz containers and a pack 24 of tiny disposable espresso spoons. I keep a spoon, single portion Condiments and Crystal light a container in my purse.
be4unoit 27 Posted December 4, 2016 I got the baby spoons & forks. But I find I take in a lot of air when eating Soup with the spoon so I've started just drinking from the bowl.
wilson06 31 Posted December 4, 2016 I got my fork and spoon also but I didn't get several. Should I. They weren't plastic kind. Please advise. Trying to get everything that is needed. I got the supply cups and mesh strains along with the meanings cups and spoons. Now I have to get Vitamins and Soup and sugar free popsicle and Water and juice. My list also mentions baby food. I haven't had to purchase that since my kids were babies. This is a lot but I know at the end it will be worth it for life. Aggiemae 739 Posted December 4, 2016 Don't waste money on baby food, but if you don't have a nutra bullet or blender a hand cranked baby food grinder would he helpful. I made veggies in 1 pound batches and decided then into 4 oz mansion jelly jars and froze them. I also made hardy Soups the same way I thinned then with chicken broth when I was on liquids and ate them thick later. My NUT said to avoid canned cream and milk based soups as they are hard ghost n carbs.
