Pazza 199 Posted December 3, 2016 How far out are you from surgery? Have toy reintegrated veggies? You can also do a homemade thin crust from Ricotta and parmesean cheese. Bake it first and broil the cheese and toppings.
Nina marie 7 Posted December 3, 2016 I'm a year out and pretty much eat anything now, as long as it goes down. Remember Protein. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
asantiago 89 Posted December 3, 2016 Hello it will be 1 year for me on the 16th of December. I have had gastric bypass and than had 2 bowel obstruction and scar tissue cut out. I surgeon told me I can eat anything but I want to be careful. I have a picc line and do TPN every day since July 1st 2016 and hopefully will be weaning off of it will in January as long as I can have my Protein intake everyday and not vomit. It's been hard for me but I am a fighter.
Djmohr 6,965 Posted December 3, 2016 @@asantiago My personal opinion but if you are going to try it, i would make sure there is some type of Protein vs just veggies and carbs. I do eat thin crust pizza every once in a while and I mean cracker thin crust. I do make sure there is alot of meat and of course it is not the most healthiest of meals. BBQ chicken pizza....... asantiago 89 Posted December 3, 2016 Thank you for your advice. Yes I agree. I like chicken and will try it as long as it's crunchy. My concern is that I need help to figure out my Protein amount per day. I have to have 70 grams at least a day. I made a appointment with my nitritionist but not until January.
