Please share what your daily menu looks like

I'm 5 weeks out. I can't handle eggs or yogurt so Breakfast is typically a Protein Shake. lunch always ends up being a oz of deli meat and cheese. dinner tuna, tilapia or shrimp and 2oz baked sweet potato.

I'm actually struggling to get my 60-80g of Protein I had my gastric bypass Oct 27th but for breakfast I eat 3 fish fillets but only the inside I don't eat the breading then I drink my Water for lunch I eat chicken salad (chicken in the can) Miracle whip light with 3 boiled eggs more water then for dinner I eat fish again I try to snack so I find myself eating veggie chips

Today was my first full day on solids but it was as follows: breakfast- a boiled egg (I had to eat it in 2 shifts) snack- 1.5oz of hummus and homemade cheese crisps lunch - 3/4 of a turkey meatball and a piece of plantain ( couldn't get much down) dinner- a piece of stewed fish and piece of plantain (didn't finish) snack - 1oz light cottage cheese and a dollop of Peanut Butter.< /p>

Breakfast: Special K Protein cereal/1 cup skim milk, turns into a mushy mess and I eat. lol

Lunch: chicken Teriyaki 2-4 oz whatever I can get down

Snack: chicken Teriyaki 2-4 oz whatever I can get down

Dinner: Garden burger/chicken/other Protein 2-4 oz whatever I can get down

Snack: Protein Bar

In between: Water, Water, water, water and more water!

Vitamins. lol!

Breakfast-One scrambled egg with diced ham and cheese

Snack-cheese stick and Triscuit Thins

Lunch-2 oz. deli turkey, natural applesauce

Dinner-Protein shake made with Fairlife milk, PB2, handful of spinach and Protein powder

Water, Decaf tea, diet cranberry juice for fluids

      Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
      1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

        All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

      I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.

      Woohoo! I have 7 more days till surgery, So far I am already down a total of 20lbs since I started this journey.
