HolleyB 2 Posted January 11, 2017 Are you using the Gas X Strips for the gas? I keep them with me at all times they have been a life saver! I was sleeved on the 4th Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
Faith16 27 Posted January 11, 2017 I was sleeved on the 3rd and most of my gas "chest pressure" is gone. I did use gas x for a few days and it helped. Not sure how you are passing gas, but the past few days I've been full of it and I feel so much better getting it out. I know tmi! HolleyB 2 Posted January 12, 2017 Yeah I was like that till Sunday, then Monday I could tell that something seemed to be different but I continued to keep drinking just a few sips at a time. A little while ago I was like I'm going to see so I got a Protein shake and drank it and was able to get the whole thing down and nothing come back up and there was no pain. loghousenut 2 Posted January 14, 2017 My first post here after much lurking. Had my surgery January 10th, 2017. Here I sit with no stomach for the past 4 days and I feel surprisingly well and relatively pain free. I am so grateful for what Aetna insurance and OHSU (Portland, Oregon) has done for me.
