Ldyvenus 317 Posted December 12, 2016 I had to push mine back from October because of a financing hiccup. I am now scheduled for Jan 24th. I can't believe how fast the time is going!
vegbeth 79 Posted December 12, 2016 @@barcelona37 I'm having my surgery at St Elizabeth's in Brighton. My doc doesn't have any specific preop diet but obviously I have to watch what I eat. I'm excited but also extremely nervous and anxious.
barcelona37 8 Posted December 12, 2016 @@vegbeth, same hospital as @@Suaniya! I lost 12 lbs a couple of months ago and wasn't going to need a preop diet. But then I gained most of it back, so I'll be drinking liquids for a week before surgery. Not too bad, could be worse.
DisneyMom2El 120 Posted December 13, 2016 My tentative date is 1/4. I had my endo today. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App How was it? Mines is scheduled on Monday and I have to go under anesthesia Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App Sorry, I just saw this so I'm sure you've already had it done. But in case others wonder as well... It was so simple. I remember going into the room, answering some questions, and then waking up in recovery. I don't remember falling asleep or anything. And I was only in recovery for a few minutes. Maybe 15. My biggest concern when I have surgeries is being put under anesthesia as well. But one of my friends has been a nurse for almost 20 years, and she said the only complications she has ever seen or personally heard of is nausea. This helped ease my concerns a lot!
