I bought my current belt from Springfield Leather Company. It is heavy duty, very well made, and not expensive - unless, of course, you compare it to bonded leather belts costing $15.00 or so. As I mentioned above, my belt carries several articles on a daily basis that require a strong and well made belt. You can get one for about $50 or so.

My forearms are sort of like Popeye's, at least for strength. A lot of that comes from the work I do.

Is this uh.... do it yourself kind of work? wink wink

(You are making this really easy on me.)

I can see you are a very bad person. ;) I am usually the one who has to tell people they are setting me up too easily. Here is an example of the work I do. I built the chest, not the musical instruments.

I thought I had big wrists.

172 pounds later I have small dainty little wrists.

I never thought I had small wrists because my wrists never seemed fat or very meaty. When you lose a massive amount or weight it comes from everywhere, even the unexpected places. I didn't have fat meaty feet either, but I am down 2 shoe sizes and no longer wear wides.

When your BMI gets under 35, you can really see what you frame is more like.

@@LittleBill **It is possible. I looked at the Charge 2 and the Surge. Finding the XL band is like trying to find a unicorn. And for the Surge, they want a premium of almost $40 for the XL band over the large. I will do some more looking tonight.**

I'm pretty sure the XL Charge 2 is only available online. Good luck!

That's gorgeous!! You are very talented!

What's that instrument that looks like a hollow violin? So pretty!!

Thank you. I am not sure what it is, but I can ask. They belong to my niece.

Okay, I called for reinforcements. Mrs. LittleBill thinks I am crazy, but she agreed to take a picture for me. This is my wrist with all the spare skin pinched and pulled as tight as I can. There is no room underneath. They have been this way since I was 185 lbs on the wrestling team in high school, and starving myself to make weight.

Tactical style belt, heavy objects... I get the funny feeling that we both have a similar style belt for similar reasons!

I'm guessing that if you recognize the language, there's a very good chance you're part of the culture. ????

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
