OneReallyBigBird 267 Posted December 2, 2016 I know what you mean on the shots, I am a diabetic and I had a really hard time giving myself shots at first. My best advice for that is don't think about it and just do it. I would sit there for like 45 minutes trying to psych myself up, and in the end I still had to give myself the shot, so just do it. My surgery is out patient and I'm a little nervous about not staying at least one night. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App I totally understand your nervousness, however, my surgeon said me staying overnight was simply hospital policy but not really vital to a successful outcome. Thanks for the advice concerning the shots. I can totally see myself sitting there forever, trying to work up the nerve. I will definitely do as you recommend and just administer the injections relatively quick. I'm sure I'll get over my fear...eventually! Lol. Thanks again! Don't look back, turn the page, and let your next chapter begin!
