green 6 Posted February 1, 2008 It sure is good to hear from you, Leatha and Sallyjo. It sounds like both of you have been travelling through a lot, and that much of this has been difficult, painful, and complicated. Though your issues are likely solved with your latest surgery, Leatha, and that is terrific news, you, Sallyjo, still have many difficulties ahead of you. This certainly is sad news. I do hope that your daughter is able to get that healthy liver ASAP. Please keep us in the loop, eh. That means both of you....!
BJean 16 Posted February 2, 2008 leathea g: What a moving testimonial! I am so glad that you wrote and told us where you are on your road to good health! You've been through some really tough stuff and I really admire the fact that you have stuck by your guns and are fighting to get where you want to be. It can't have been an easy road and it must take quite a lot of determination. Most people might have just given up and given in. You're a strong woman and you deserve to be recognized for being such a pillar of strength - no matter what. I know you and I disagreed a couple of threads, but I always respected your input, and I want you to know that I missed you too and that I am really glad that you came back to let us know how you are. Best wishes for the fantastic success that you definitely deserve!
BJean 16 Posted February 2, 2008 sallyjo: Congratulations on your very successful banding and subsequent weight loss! Sorry to hear you had to have the gallbladder surgery, but it was probably really nice to have someone check on the band and find it in good shape. I am sorry about your daughter's need for a new liver. We will sure keep you and her in our prayers.
HarleyNana 10 Posted February 4, 2008 Leatha, it was so awesome running across your posts. I too have missed you and so many of the 2004-2005 bandsters. Thank you so very much for sharing your story, the loss of the band is one of my biggest fears. Hugs to you dear lady, please drop in from time to time, I know I'm not alone in saying, I care.
